There are 123 days left in 2020.
123 days to prepare for what you’ve prayed for, to do what God has required of you in this season.
To uproot and clear from your heart of those things that are not pleasing to Him. To cultivate and plant those things that are Him.
What does that look for you?
For me, it’s rebellion.
It’s going left when He told me to go right. It’s charting my own path because His path seems murky or even impossible. But His word tells me that all things are possible with Him.
1 Samuel 15: 23 says, “For rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft and stubbornness is as bad as worshipping idols..” 1 Samuel 15 also says it’s punishable by death. That’s a harsh reality for me.
What do I need to plant?
Self -control.
Self-control means turning down my plate when I want to eat my emotions. Self-control means fasting and praying when I need direction. Self- control means ridding myself of the impulsive plans and the my millennial mindset of instant gratification.
Self- Control is the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians5:23).
There are still four months to get this done.
There are 123 days left in 2020.
There is still time to get your inheritance this year.
There’s still time to receive the promise you’ve been waiting for.
Deny your flesh.
Stop trying to figure out what His plan is and give Him a Yes.
Yes to His will.
Yes to His way.
These next four months are crucial and the quick work He’s doing may cause some pain, confusion, rough sides of the mountain... but remember in the end, if we stay connected to Him, we win!
Isaiah 1:19 and 20 says, " If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
